Rohbimax AG, based in Schwarzenbach SG, is a manufacturer of precision saws. We were able to contribute our experience in series production to the complete redesign of their precision saw in 2015.
The following key areas were prioritized during development:
- The variety of suppliers and components for the control system was reduced to a minimum. This reduces spare parts inventory costs.
- During software development, special emphasis was placed on the modularization of the application. This allows options to be integrated into the existing software as additional components with minimal effort.
Redesign HMI
In close collaboration with Rohbimax AG, the software for the precision sawing machine is continuously expanded and adapted to the individual requirements of end customers. With the recent redesign of the entire system, the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) was also updated. The goal was to create a simple and intuitive user interface that allows users to operate the system with minimal prior knowledge.
