Kompaflex AG is a Swiss company specializing in the engineering and manufacturing of expansion joints for all applications. ATACOM was commissioned with the retrofit and expansion of an existing production facility.
We were able to support Kompaflex with the following services:
- Inventory of the existing plant and requirements analysis for the new system
- Planning and construction of the new control technology
- Renewal of the control software with SIEMENS control components and operator software based on .NET.
- Commissioning and optimization of the system
Manufacturing expansion joints requires considerable expertise. In close collaboration with the client, a detailed specification for the new system was developed and subsequently implemented. Our experience in hydraulic control systems and our mathematical background contributed significantly to the project’s success.
