Lehmann Holzwerk AG processes round timber from our region into standard products and semi-finished goods in its sawmill and planing mill using modern, industrial equipment. ATACOM was commissioned to retrofit the chipper line.
We were able to contribute the following services to the renewal of the chipper line:
- Renewal of the control components and the electrical scheme
- Renewal of the control software with SIEMENS S7 and a customer-specific user interface based on .NET Framework
- Support for the renewal of the control components
- Commissioning and support during the restart of the plant
Automation in woodworking places high demands on control technology. The variable properties of wood require a high degree of process stability in the control software. A well-designed and flexible operating concept is essential to guarantee smooth operation.
