Wecotech AG, based in Gähwil, St. Gallen, operates in the field of tube end forming. Its machines are in use worldwide. ATACOM has been supplying the control technology for these machines since 2017.
Since our acquisition of the control technology, Wecotech has benefited in the following ways:
- A new hardware concept enabled a significant reduction in production costs
- Energy efficiency and precision could be increased through the use of servo motors
- The use of new remote maintenance technologies has simplified worldwide support.
- The control software was designed modularly. This allows customer requests or expansions to be implemented without significant effort
Our support for control technology includes:
- Hardware planning and construction of the control system
- Preparation, commissioning and testing of the control software before delivery
The support and further development of highly customized series production machines places high demands on control technology. A challenge we gladly accept.
